An information session for Dave Freeman’s A Bedfull of Foreigners, directed by Sarah Freeman will be held this Wednesday, August 20th at 7:30pm at the Woodbin Theatre, Lillian Stott Centre, 15 Coronation Street Geelong West 3218. Melway Reference: 401 C 3. Auditions will be at Sunday August 31st at 2pm and Tuesday September 2nd at 7:30pm. For further details contact the director – Sarah Freeman or 0403208369. It is the eve of the town festival. There is only one room left in a falling-down French hotel, somewhere near the German border. A communication breakdown between the Bulgarian/Hungarian ex Foreign Legion Head Porter and the Swiss/Austrian Hotel Manager - a double booked room – inefficient staff and hasty cover-ups – seductions and confrontations – all combine to make this classic British comedy a laugh a minute. This madcap and tastefully titillating British farce was written by the late Dave Freeman, principal writer for the Benny Hill TV Show and Carry On films. |
