1928.

Olivia has come home from boarding school only to find her father and brother dying from an illness connected to the family business.

She takes solace in the fact that she will inherit the business which will not only keep the memory of her family alive but also keep her opulent lifestyle intact.

She did not know, however, that the family business is in fact a brothel in St Kilda.

Soon she finds her self surrounded by lewd women, obsessive suitors and a young man so attractive she simply cannot see that there are two of him.
